The very best advice and information.

The best advice we could possibly give you is to take care in making your dreads to begin with. Getting them right from

the beginning, sectioning them properly. Backcombing then tightly etc will save you SO much time and hastle. IF you

are starting your dready adventure we whole heartedly advise you arm yourself with a dreadhead kit and most importantly

a copy of the EXCELLENT DREADHEAD INSTRUCTIONAL DVD. Actually watching the process will make things SO much clearer

and take away any anxiety you and the mate you have roped in to do them for you may have.

But wait! It doesn't stop there once you have put in your dreads like any hairstyle they will need care. Maintaing them

is actually simpler than you think with a routine of washing and using a good dreadlock wax and maintaining root growth they

will serve you well.

Loose hair!

The curse of dreadheads. There are various ways to combat loose hair. Dread balling, Palm rolling etc but by FAR the best

is to use a crotchet hook. This is what we use in out hairdressing and the results are amazing. It does take skill though
