Doing da Dreads
Firstly
prepare yourself
Ok so you’ve
seen people with dreads and want to try them yourself. That’s good
but take a
bit of time to realise what a commitment dreads are. It is a voyage of
discovery which no one apart from the dready massive can quite understand. It
changes you in many ways, the process of getting them is like a rights of
passage,
make no mistake it hurts, nah it Fucking Hurts!
It also take
a long time, on average one dread will take about 20mins so if you
have about
30 dreads that’s 10 hours, now ad about 5 hours for sectioning and
faffing
about. However when done be doubly ready:-
- You will start to develop a
supercool presence,
- Fellow dreadheads will give you
knowing nods in the street,
- You’ll need to find a sturdy
stick to beat off the opposite sex!
